A correspondence club, if operated properly and professionally can bring in thousands of dollars per month to the owner.

What we talk about here is only a friendship/correspondence club and not a dating club. You have to make that distinction clear when you operate this business. Thus your service will only include the facilitation of friendship amongst your members.

The first thing you will need to do is define how your club will operate. Then formulate the rules and regulations you want your members to adhere to. Then draw up a membership pack detailing what activities your club has to offer, your membership price and an application form.

Members pay you a flat fee on a monthly basis. An example of what you could offer would be the circulation of names and addresses (probably dependent on your club's policy), a meeting once a month, bingo nights, dance nights, sports days, etc.

Advertise in classified sections in your newspaper in the personals column. When people respond, send them your membership pack perhaps with some sample pictures of activities, names of members with addresses censored, etc and ask them to sign up for a memebrship.

Once they sign up, you send them a monthly bulletin detailing activities and names and addresses of new members, etc. In fact, you will provide them with a quality membership and make it simple for them to communicate and correspond with your other members.

Once you're up and established, you can start advertising in wider circulating monthly magazines who specialize in friendship etc.
